HSC — $1 CUSTOMER INFO HUB PROJECT

Project terms

These terms set out the practical rules for the HighStakes Creative $1 Customer Info Hub project.

1. Project overview

HighStakes Creative will select one suitable New Zealand small business for a custom one-page Customer Info Hub build at a project price of NZ$1.

The project is a selected service project, not a random draw, lottery or popularity-based competition.

2. Eligibility and authority

Applicants must represent a genuine New Zealand business and be the owner or an authorised representative.

An existing domain is not required to apply. If the selected business already owns a domain, it must be able to provide the access reasonably required for the project.

If the selected business does not have a domain, HighStakes Creative may assist it to select and register one. The domain must be registered in the business’s own name and account. Domain registration and renewal charges are separate from the NZ$1 project price and remain the business’s responsibility.

HighStakes Creative may decline an application where identity, authority, business legitimacy, project scope or practical suitability cannot be reasonably confirmed. Where a domain is required for the selected project, the project can proceed only if a suitable domain can be secured.

3. Selection

One suitable business will be selected based on project fit. Selection may consider scope, transformation opportunity, content readiness, practical build complexity, responsiveness, portfolio value and future fit with HighStakes Creative.

Likes, comments, shares, follower numbers and other social engagement do not increase an applicant’s chance of selection.

HighStakes Creative may privately contact a preferred applicant before final selection is confirmed. If the preferred applicant cannot be reached or the scope cannot be confirmed, another shortlisted applicant may be approached.

4. Project acceptance and NZ$1 payment

After selecting a preferred business, HighStakes Creative will confirm the proposed scope and practical requirements with the business before the project begins.

If the business agrees to proceed, HighStakes Creative will issue an invoice for NZ$1 total, payable before build work begins. HighStakes Creative is not currently GST registered, so no GST is added.

The selected business may decline the project before accepting it and making payment. In that case, HighStakes Creative may offer the project to another suitable applicant.

If the client withdraws after payment but before HighStakes Creative begins work on the agreed project, the NZ$1 payment will be refunded.

If the client withdraws after HighStakes Creative has begun work on the agreed project, the NZ$1 payment is non-refundable and HighStakes Creative may stop work. There is no cancellation penalty, and the client will not become liable for the normal Customer Info Hub price solely because it withdraws from the NZ$1 project.

If HighStakes Creative cancels or cannot complete the agreed project for reasons not caused by the client, the NZ$1 payment will be refunded.

5. What the selected project includes

The project covers one business, one mobile-friendly one-page Customer Info Hub, one language and one agreed design direction adapted to the business’s existing branding. Custom means designed around the business; HighStakes Creative may use existing components and development tools rather than code every component from scratch.

The website includes up to six main content sections. These typically cover an introduction, services or offer, about the business, client-supplied trust material or useful detail, practical information such as hours and service area, and contact. Sections may be combined or substituted within that limit. The final sections and order are agreed before work begins. The header and footer do not count towards the six-section limit. A simple supporting page displaying the client-supplied privacy statement may also be included where needed for the enquiry form; it is not an additional designed service or marketing page.

Content organisation, light copywriting and editing are included for up to 750 words of finished website copy, based on information supplied by the client. Rough notes, existing material and business facts are acceptable inputs; the client does not need to supply polished copy. The word allowance excludes the client-supplied privacy statement. The client must approve the final wording and remains responsible for its accuracy.

Image preparation and placement cover up to eight content images plus the existing business logo, including cropping, resizing, compression and basic presentation adjustments. The client supplies usable images and confirms permission to use them. Stock imagery may be used by agreement within the image allowance; any paid licence requires approval and is charged separately. Stock or generated imagery will not be presented as photographs of the actual team, premises or completed work.

One simple enquiry form is included, with up to four fields: name, email, optional phone number and message. It includes basic validation, basic spam protection, an on-page submission confirmation and delivery to one nominated business email address. HighStakes Creative will test receipt of a submission before launch. The selected business’s enquiries will be kept separate from HighStakes Creative’s campaign CRM, and the form will not require a compulsory ongoing HSC subscription. Any third-party form service, account requirement, usage limit or potential external charge will be disclosed before the build is agreed.

Basic search setup includes a descriptive page title and meta description, clear heading structure, appropriate image alternative text, a canonical URL, a sitemap, a check that the launched page is not unintentionally blocked from indexing, basic social-sharing metadata and a favicon derived from supplied branding. Search-engine indexing, rankings, traffic and enquiries are not guaranteed.

If the client chooses analytics and provides the necessary access and approved privacy information, HighStakes Creative will set up one client-owned Google Analytics 4 property for standard page-view measurement and check that page views are recorded. Names, email addresses, phone numbers and enquiry-message content will not be sent to analytics. The client may decline analytics without preventing launch.

The project also includes two consolidated pre-launch revision rounds as defined below, connection of the agreed domain, deployment, and 30 calendar days of HSC-managed hosting and defined basic launch support from the actual agreed launch date. HighStakes Creative normally offers the Customer Info Hub service from NZ$550. Domain registration, renewal and approved external charges are separate from the NZ$1 project price.

6. Scope limitations and revisions

Two consolidated revision rounds are included before launch. The first is one set of feedback on the complete preview covering wording, images, colours and layout refinements within the agreed scope. The second is one set of final refinements and corrections. Each round is supplied as one consolidated set of feedback by the client’s nominated decision-maker. Corrections to faults in HighStakes Creative’s implementation, omitted agreed content or other HSC errors do not use up a revision round.

Revisions refine the agreed website. They do not include an alternative design concept, extra sections or functionality, a substantial change to the approved brief, or unlimited revisions. A content-management system or self-editing dashboard is not included unless separately agreed.

Extensive research, interviews, brand strategy, naming, long-form sales copy, translation, legal-policy drafting, photography, video production, substantial retouching, logo creation and custom illustration are excluded.

Ordinary links to existing booking or ordering services, social profiles, map directions or a client-supplied downloadable document may be included. Linking to a service does not include configuring, integrating or supporting that service. Apart from the agreed enquiry form and optional basic analytics, CRM setup, pipelines, automated follow-up, chatbots, SMS, payment processing, e-commerce, membership features, live social or review feeds, custom API connections and other integrations are excluded.

The enquiry form does not include file uploads, conditional questions, quoting calculators, appointment booking, payments or automated follow-up sequences. Advanced analytics, custom dashboards, advertising pixels, remarketing, call tracking, advanced event tracking, ongoing reporting, keyword research campaigns, dedicated location pages, backlink work, Google Business Profile management and ongoing SEO are excluded.

Large websites or product catalogues, extensive custom functionality, business-email setup or migration, domain recovery or disputes, and migration of a large existing website or database are excluded. Additional or expanded work may be declined or quoted separately. Its scope and any price must be agreed before it is undertaken; no additional paid work or automatic extra charge is compulsory.

7. Client responsibilities and project timing

The selected business must provide reasonably accurate business information, required content and usable assets, any domain, DNS or platform access reasonably needed, and one nominated decision-maker for consolidated feedback and approval. It must confirm its rights to supplied material and approve the privacy information shown alongside the enquiry form. The business remains responsible for the accuracy and legality of information it asks HighStakes Creative to publish.

Before invoicing, HighStakes Creative and the selected business will confirm the specific scope in writing, including the agreed sections, content and image allowances, design direction, enquiry-form recipient, analytics choice, external services and disclosed charges. That scope confirmation will retain the campaign’s numerical limits unless a separate variation is expressly agreed.

Timing is project-specific. HighStakes Creative will check capacity and receive the required inputs before confirming the start date and estimated launch date in writing. There is no standard fixed build period or promise of an immediate start after selection. Build work starts only after scope acceptance, payment of NZ$1 and readiness of the required content, assets and domain or access arrangements.

The schedule depends on timely client feedback and approvals. Delays in content, access, approvals or third-party services may require revised timing, which HighStakes Creative will communicate. The client must approve the final website before the agreed launch.

8. Domain and control

The client retains ownership and control of its domain at all times. HighStakes Creative may receive temporary technical access where required but will not register or retain the domain in its own name.

If the selected business does not already own a suitable domain, HighStakes Creative may help it select and technically connect one, but registration and renewal remain the business’s responsibility and are paid separately by the business.

If Website Care is not continued, HighStakes Creative will provide the agreed website files or repository access and reasonable deployment information needed to move the website to compatible alternative hosting. Any platform limitations, third-party licences or external charges will be disclosed before the project begins.

9. Included 30-day hosting and launch support

The included 30-calendar-day period begins on the actual agreed website launch date, not the application date, selection date or invoice date. During that period HighStakes Creative provides managed hosting, maintains the deployed version of the agreed website and provides email support for launch-related technical issues.

HighStakes Creative will investigate and correct faults in its own implementation of the agreed website, such as HSC-caused broken links, display issues, incorrect domain connection or enquiry-form configuration errors.

For third-party form-service failures, hosting outages or client changes, HighStakes Creative will investigate and explain the available options. It does not guarantee a repair or restoration outside its control. Any separate investigation or work requiring an additional charge must be explained and approved before it is undertaken.

Basic launch support excludes new content, redesigns, additional functionality, ongoing marketing, business-email support and general IT support. It does not include Website Care’s monthly small-content-update allowance. There is no 24/7 service or guaranteed immediate response. The end of the included period does not remove any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

10. Website Care after the included period

Website Care is optional. No paid plan, recurring charge or subscription begins automatically.

Current proposed Website Care pricing is NZ$25 per week or NZ$1,040 per year paid annually. Any ongoing service requires explicit client agreement before it begins.

If Website Care is declined, the client may arrange alternative hosting or request a reasonable handover. A short no-charge grace period may be used after the initial 30 days to avoid sudden interruption while the hosting decision is finalised.

11. Website Care service boundary

Website Care may include HSC-managed hosting, SSL/HTTPS management, deployment management, basic uptime monitoring, reasonable technical maintenance, basic performance checks, email support, one small content update of approximately 20 minutes per month, and quarterly basic website health review while the service remains active.

Unused monthly editing time does not accumulate. Website Care does not mean unlimited development, unlimited technical support, a lifetime warranty, or responsibility for every third-party platform or service failure.

12. Publicity and case-study use

HighStakes Creative may ask the selected business for permission to document or share the project, including before-and-after material. Any use that requires client permission will be discussed with the selected business before publication.

13. Campaign availability and closing date

Applications for Campaign C01 open on 1 October 2026 and close at 8:00 PM NZDT on 15 October 2026. Applications received after the closing time may not be considered for this campaign cycle.

14. Changes or cancellation

HighStakes Creative may reasonably amend, pause or cancel the campaign if technical, legal, operational or other material circumstances make the project impractical to continue as described.

Any material change affecting applicants or the selected business will be communicated as clearly as reasonably possible.
